Portfolio of Works
Indigenous Peoples
This collection of Indigenous Peoples was inspired in large part by photographs by Edward Curtis. Edward Curtis documented in photographs Native Americans for the U.S. government. His collected works are available in the Library of Congress and completed around the end of the 19thc to the early 20thc. The photographs I referenced were in black and white. Applications of color were researched to provide some authenticity but are not wholly true as in some cases they were assumed.
